A shiny new kitchen :)

New Kitchen

I have a new kitchen! - and a new home :)

It's not much but it has a working oven and a decent size fridge (the grey thing peeking out from the bottom left corner). This will do nicely for the next 12 months. :)

I'm still under equipped compared to my previous place. We don't have any cutlery trays, so the utensils are every where and rattling about. I am still lacking a beater and food processor but I have a scale! Which means I can still make something :)

Pink roses

A new plant for a new home. A lovely and thoughtful gift from our friend Bonnie. Thanks Bonnie! :)

Your kitchen is SO SO beautiful! I love everything about it -- the cabinets, the countertop, and the natural lighting coming through the window.

Congratulations! The kitchen is so sleek--love the black, and the bar handles on the cupboards & drawers are great, too.

Very pretty :

Is that a dishwasher with the round window? I've never seen one like that!

This is in Australia right?! Gosh, that looks like a dream to me! Everything looks so great!! (Maybe one day you will see my dreary kitchen)

Joy: Hi Joy. Yes, I too was taken in by the window when we first viewed the place. I was sold from first sight! :D

Mrs W: Thank you! I just love the shiny bench top. :D

Recipegirl: Hi there. Unfortunately, I don't have a dishwasher. Everything needs to be washed the old fashion way. The machine with the round window is actually the washing machine. It's quite a common feature in English homes to have the washing machine in the kitchen.

Kat: Thanks Kat. It's my dream kitchen too. :) I'm going to cherish it for the next 12 months. LOL.

Manggy: Ahh no, this is the kitchen in London. We're still in London, only just moved in last weekend. Been staying with my best friends for the last 3 months.

Back in Aus, we've got similar cupboard decor but just a standard boring creamy laminate bench top.

You're kitchen can't be as dreary as my mum's kitchen. ;)

It's a wonderful kitchen! You should see the kitchen I'm forced to use as an expat, truly horrible. I can't wait to move (to London too!) and concentrate on finding a place with a proper kitchen.

Hurrah - you found a place! But I am now so consumed by jealousy that I don't think we will ever be able to meet up again ;-) Just look at that kitchen!!

At last I have discovered where to find you I-L! I have spent the last half hour exploring your blog and I love it. And your kitchen is exquisite, you must be in your element. Poor Alv's dishwashing tasks must continue though it seems!
